Ahhh! i finally figured out how to do this! i agree with debbi we should, if not hijack this blog, at least use it….
i was wondering what other people might be feeling as they process grandma schlabach’s death. it still hits me at odd times, and i am trying hard not to believe that i won’t be able to see her on this earth again. i was crying about it some more last night, and singing “children of the heavenly father”. of course, i also cried when robert found something he had misplaced, when he apologized for being cranky, and when a someone played a trombone in a movie. on the other hand, the site of frozen blueberries and ice cream made me jump up and down for joy, and i pronounced the feeling of stretching my lower back to be “better than marital recreation” (not my exact words), much to my dear husband’s dismay. pregnancy is a rather emotional time.

have you seen the joke about “the entire thought process of a puppy”? it goes something like, “what’s that? what’s that? what’s that? what’s that? OW! GOTTA PEE! what’s that? what’s that? what’s that? what’s that? OW! GOTTA PEE! what’s that?…..” and so on.

well, my version, “the entire thought process of a pregnant woman” is something like, “ouch, i’m stiff, ouch that hurts, OH! GOTTA PEE! ouch, i’m stiff, ouch that hurts, OH! GOTTA PEE……” i suppose for about nine months. only lately i have been adding “i’m STARVING” about every hour. speaking of which….

DiGennaro and otherwise ladies:

So, I was reading the boys’ blogs the other night, and concluded that we women should hijack this one and use it to discuss matters other than computers and airplanes, interesting as they may be.

So, Jess, Louise, Nan, Joella, and anyone else, put this blogspot on your list of things to check as well, and maybe we’ll find things to talk about.

Aram and Priska are having quite a conversation in the other room. It’s really precious. She’s been sort of crabby the last few days–any chance she has started to teethe yet? She’s four months
